Church of Santa Margherita (St. Margaret)
Located along the provincial road that from Rotzo leads to Pedescala, it is deemed the oldest church in the Plateau by a report of a bishop visit in 1602. It was built around 1100 and subsequently renovated several times, taking the present form in 1638. It had painted walls inside, a wooden altar and an altarpiece depicting Santa Margherita (St. Margaret), subsequently all disappeared. The bell tower was added only in the last century, while the 1439 bell, now preserved inside, was taken by the Austrians during the First World War, nonetheless it later returned. The faithful believed that its tolls had the power to avert thunderstorms.
